The ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓƵ actively promotes equality and diversity for all of our staff and students and we have a history of commitment to equality of opportunity.

We have worked hard to respond positively and constructively to the introduction of the Equality Act (2010).

Through our Athena SWAN Submission & Action Plan 2022 as well as our Equality and Diversity Committee and Equality Policies, we will work with staff and students from across the RVC and beyond, to promote the positive stories about what we have achieved already through inclusion and what we will be doing even better in the future.

The RVC is required by law to carry out Gender Pay Reporting under the specific duties of the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017. These regulations underpin the Public Sector Equality Duty. Gender Pay Reporting involves six calculations of the difference between the average earnings of men and women across the institution.
