The Animal and Plant Health Agency’s Data Systems Group are celebrating the success of the , which shows bovine TB incidents in England and Wales. The website, developed with the Environmental Research Group Oxford in 2015, has recently had over one million views of the data.

The aim of the website, funded by Defra and the Welsh Government, is to give the farming community more information on bovine TB (bTB) incidents so that they can make better-informed biosecurity decisions such as isolating their cattle from neighbouring bTB incidents or not purchasing from farms that have a history of bTB infection.

The site, which is open access, also features a tool enabling farmers to locate their nearest Approved Finishing Unit.

The system is continually being updated and further improvements are planned to display more detailed information on bTB herd incidents.

Please email ram.woahcollaboratingcentre@apha.gov.uk if you would like further information on the website or its development.
